This page is a one stop shop for you to see what tools and resources I have either used, or have heard great things about. Below is a list of helpful tools or information that I have found helpful for my businesses and social business. It will contain great resources: books, book  reviews, articles, online tools, website creation tools, and much more. This list will grow as I discover more, or better, tools for the trade. Hopefully this will help you immensely.

Website Creation and Hosting:

I have different websites, using differente services for a number of my different sites. Depending on your needs; level of experiences, business needs, strategy, and pricing will determing which platform might work best.

• Yola:Yola is an amazingly easy online website creation tool. I have used this for a number of different areas. The best part is it is free for the basic package. You really can have a professional looking website up for free in a matter of a few hours.  Start Building Now!
• WordPress.org: WordPress.org is a very popular website platform; not to be confused with wordpress.com, which is more for personal blogging. WordPress.org is capable of delivering a very high performace and professional website. It has thousands od dymanic plugins that are easily installable. This is what I used to creat this site, and thousands of other online businesses use it as well. It does take a bit more technical skills, but it is very easy once you learn it. WordPress.org is free, however you must buy a hosting package from somewhere, also if you want a better looking theme for your site you will have to buy that; the themes are generally around $30. Both hosting and themes are discussed below.

Hosting:

• Bluehost.com: I am using Bluehost for to host this WordPress site. So far I am happy. It is highly recommended by many interenet businesses. The price is great and there is a VERY easy one click WordPress instalation with it.

WordPress Themes:

• They are highly reccommened and have a lot of great premium themes to choose from for your WordPress site. There are many great WordPress themes for sale here. I was decided between two themes for this site, one from Woo Themes, and the other from Themeforest, which I picked.
• Themeforest: They have a lot of great themes and templates for your WordPress site, and many other sites. The theme I am using for this site was purchased through them

Creating Online Video:

• Animoto: I LOVE animoto! It is an amazingly easy and great way to create online video. Great prices too. You can create a short 30 second video for free, or pay around $3-4 to buy a longer one. From there there are different packages. Our video for Ethic ! Travel is from Animoto.

Productivity Tools:

• Toodledo: I’ve been using Toodledo for around three years now to help me in my organization, which is not my strong suit! It’s a very comprehensive and thorough task management system. Best of all: it is free!
• Action Method Online: This task management software was created by Scott Belsky who wrote the book – Making Ideas Happen. I did the free trial and really loved to software. I am strongly thinking about switching over to it from Toodledo, but it does cost around $99 per year.

Online Shopping Carts:

• Paypal: I think pretty much everyone knows about Paypal by now! It’s a great and easy way to start taking payments through your website.
• E-Junkie: This is a easy and cheap online shopping cart. It links into Paypal and other payment gateways. This is what I am using for my free online E-Book.

Email Subscriptions and Marketing

• Aweber: This is a great and highly used email marketing and subscription management system. It is an incredibly powerful tool. I am certain I will switch over to this in the near future.
• Mail Chimp: I am currently using this email service on this site. It operates well and has a great entry price: free!
